Thomas Affeldt, AIA, joined M1DTW in 2015 and became a Principal of the firm in 2020. Thomas is a licensed architect in the state of Michigan and has been the project lead for many of the studio’s major projects since joining the practice, including Cadillac Arts Centre, LSC—O, Oakridge Dental Center, 5000 Grand River, Water Street Coffee, OneCare Offices, and Floyd Library.
Thomas graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan’s Taubman College of Architecture & Urban Planning.
